Intrada is an inter-generational supportive housing community that will provide the first permanent supportive housing in Missouri for youth aging out of foster care. This 50-unit project consisted of the restoration and adaptive re-use of a 3-story terra cotta building–which required extensive seismic and other code upgrades–and a four-story wood-framed expansion. 20% of the units provide youth with furnished, low rent apartments, while the remaining units serve as affordable housing for seniors and families. All residents benefit from onsite services from the Carondolet Community Betterment Federation.
