STAND Structural Engineering provided structural design services for Bietigheim-Bissingen Park—known locally as “BiBi Park”—a new 6.5-acre public park located at the northeast corner of 159th Street and Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas.
Developed as part of the sister-city relationship between Overland Park and Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany, the park design draws inspiration from German architectural character, city planning, and integration with water and art. The park features a community shelter, restroom building, playground, bocce court, reading nook, open lawn areas, elevated boardwalk, gazebo, and a small parking lot.
