Iris Gardens in Austin, TX is a four-story, 150-unit affordable senior housing community designed by Vecino Group with structural engineering by STAND Structural Engineering. As Austin’s first LGBTQIA2+-affirming senior living development, it provides supportive services tailored to create an inclusive, welcoming environment. The project offers a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, with 65 dedicated to permanent supportive housing for residents exiting homelessness. Scheduled for completion in 2027, Iris Gardens represents a major step forward in addressing both affordable housing and social equity in Austin.
